A shift in the approach to teaching based on the study among novice academics of Poznań University of Economics and Business
The presented research is part of a broader study focusing on the process of becoming a university teacher. The progress towards becoming an educator in an academic environment may be described using three main levels: 1. the initial process of entering the role of an academic teacher, 2. the ongoing developmental process (learning as modifying knowledge structures and skills) and 3. the conceptual change in the approach to teaching: towards student-centered model.
