In this workshop, we will discuss the steps in developing a SoTL project. With a finished SOTL-project for the course ‘Developmental Psychopathology’ as an example, we’ll discuss the demarcation of the problem, design a possible solution and discuss how to investigate the effectiveness of this solution. You’ll be challenged to come up with your own solutions and research designs, but will also hear on how this project worked out in practice.
I am Associate professor at the department of Developmental Psychology, with a special focus on teaching. I am involved in restructuring the bachelor Psychology thereby stimulating active learning as well as community engaged (interdisciplinary) teaching.
