In this 3rd edition of the talkshow Teaching with Society, we want to talk about intervening education. One of the university's greatest ambitions is to have education contribute to developments in society in an innovative way. But in what ways can students 'intervene' in society? To answer this question, several educational innovators talk about their experience in linking academic knowledge to the organisation of broader attention to social issues. The talkshow departs from the idea that education can only cope with the crises of the 21st century by bringing together broad knowledge and input on important subjects. Among the topics discussed is the Mixed Classroom concept, winner of one of three Higher Education Prizes for academic education, as submitted by the UU.
