What exactly is the academic community and who belongs to it? On the one hand, it seems that this community is fragmented by the current corona crisis. Students, faculty, staff and administrators live on islands and are connected by the digital sea. On the other hand, we may have experienced the core of this community and found all kinds of ways to keep these islands together. Or did the islands exist before we were in this crisis?
In our session, we want to have an input discussion. How do we keep our academic community together? What creative ideas are there to meet each other halfway? How do we build our academic community in a sustainable way? Together with the participants, we hope to engage students and staff in a conversation to answer these questions. We will do this by having the conversation from different perspectives (including student-teacher and board-community relationship).
This session is jointly organised by members of the CAT SIG Oker and students of the U-Counc
